My husband and I held our wedding reception at Elsenham Golf Club on 5 December 2015. We had a wonderful day, the setting at the Golf Club is lovely, the function room modern and bright with a bar and seating area downstairs. The food and service was very good. Leanne, our wedding planner was very helpful and ensured the day ran smoothly. Our guests all commented on what a lovely day

We really do just want to thank you so much for all your effort you put in for our wedding. It was everything we could have asked for! All the time & hard work you put in really did show. Everyone commented on how hard you were working ensuring everything was going to plan. The DJ was excellent, he played all the songs we asked for & had such a good party variety it got everybody dancing. The room was decorated perfectly & the room changes went so smoothly! We know we were a total pain by going completely off menu for the food but you certainly didn't disappoint! Everything was so fresh & tasty! It really was just what we had hoped for. The cheese & pineapple hedgehog was another conversation starter, so many people commented on how good it was & I can’t thank you enough for making sure my barmy wish was fulfilled. The sweet table & chocolate fountains were a total hit too! The fact you took the time to home bake
the brownies really was a lovely touch. All your staff worked their socks off to ensure us & our guests had the best day!
You can really tell this is a family run business & that was what we were after, you just don't get that kind of service from a big corporate business. Over the many months we have been coming to you to plan our wedding we really always felt welcome at the golf club. We certainly won’t be strangers & will be back for dinner or if I get my way another party! We are just so grateful at how relaxed we have felt planning our wedding & how accommodating you have beenhas just been outstanding. We must also thank the owner for dropping a few of us home as our taxis didn't arrive! You don't get that kind of service in a lot of places. We just can’t thank you enough for everything, we had the most fantastic day & it really was everything we had dreamed of. If we could do it all again tomorrow we would. I have pleasure in recommending you for any events, you pulled out all the stops for us and it didn't go unnoticed by us or our guests. I have probably missed out so much! But it truly was amazing! My sister recently married and held her reception at Elsenham Golf & Leisure - the whole day was happy, relaxed, informal but classy. The venue was lovely, the grounds superb and the staff couldn't have done more to make it such a special day. I would thoroughly recommend the venue for future weddings.

We had our wedding here on the first of October 2016. When looking around venues we found a lot of places pretty restricted to what we could have or what vendors we could use etc but Elsenham golf club was different. It's family run which was a massive bonus. When we met the events manager Leanne we felt relaxed and knew we was in good hands. She would organise as much or as little as we wanted. She was so helpful throughout, always in contact and always searching for anything we had asked for. We changed our minds several times on several things but this was never a problem. Leanne accommodated every request we had! We went completely off menu which again wasn't a problem nor was it bank breaking. The food served was exactly what we had hoped for! I even asked for a cheese and pineapple hedgehog which was granted at no extra cost! The staff worked so hard throughout the day and night we couldn't of been happier.
At the end of the night their was a mix up and our car never arrived and kindley the owner gave us a lift home! You don't get that service anywhere. The venue itself is set on beautiful grounds and we got the most gorgeous photos around the course
and lake! The barn suite is stunning, the large windows really give it that wow factor. It's bright, airy and very clean. You also have use of the club house downstairs which we found perfect in the evening. You have the choice of being in the party dancing away or you can relax and have a chat in the club house. The wedding we set out to have we had. I must also say how reasonable priced Elsenham golf club is. We had so many extras but we still found it such good value for money. There is so many things I could say about how amazing this venue and staff are. I am happy to talk to anyone considering this venue. Thank you to Leanne and team for giving us the most amazing day!

Amazing team in an amazing environment. I attended a wedding here and it was so well run. Being close to the bride, i know that there was so much freedom in the organisation of the day. Leanne and the team couldnt have been more accomodating. (Even down to providing golf lessons for the children while photographs were being take !) The food was delicious!!! I will certainly be back and
would recommend to friends and family! X

My wife and I held an evening reception and party at Elsenham Golf Club after our wedding in April. Leanne made the planning and budgeting process seamless and efficient, tailoring our budget and needs perfectly and offering advice and guidance in a very professional manner, not least because we were not put under any pressure whatsoever to spend more than we had. The view over the course from the clubhouse balcony was superb and the venue itself was decorated wonderfully. The chef did a really fantastic job with a variety of different strengths of chilli and its accompaniments, and the bar and reception staff were excellent. Without exception the guests (about 75 of them) said what a brilliant evening it was and from our perspective it rounded off a perfect day. We would recommend the venue wholeheartedly and without reservation.

We had our wedding reception here on the 24th June, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Leanne is extremely helpful and she did absolutely everything she could to make our day run as smoothly as possible. The venue itself is beautiful and has such a relaxed feeling. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to other local venues. I would recommend to anyone looking at
getting married here or just for a relaxing drink or game of golf, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We had the perfect day and wouldn't have changed one single thing. Thank you Leanne and family.

Where do I start.... after having a massive cake emergency the day before my wedding, Leanne took it upon herself to save the day and arranged for the cake to be sorted for us, even though she had her own evening plans but spent over 5 hours doing everything in her power to get us a cake and by 8pm the same day we had a cake! Our wedding (yesterday) was absolutely faultless, Leanne and her team gave us a perfect day and we can’t thank them enough for tending to all our needs as well as our guests and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day! I have had nothing but amazing messages from our guests on how fantastic our day was at Elsenham Golf Club! I am happy to talk to any brides to be but I can assure you that you won’t get a better service! Once again, thank you Leanne and all your team for giving us a wedding to remember.
